We stopped for our first taste of Indian food once we got out of the city. It almost blew our heads off, but our tastebuds are starting to acclimatise.

After breakfast we headed off through the Maharashstra countryside for a 12 hour journey to Goa.

We were all drifting in and out of sleep by now. but there was some lush countryside on the way down if you could stay awake long enough to appreciate it.
